2010 TRYOUTS

Formal tryout sessions have been completed.  If you are interested in checking out one of our teams, contact the coach or manager directly.  Opportunities often remain until rosters are finalized in July.

THINGS TO BRING TO TRYOUTS

If coming to tryouts or a practice session, Players should bring water, a ball and wear a grey shirt, with other proper soccer attire as well as a completed registration form if new to the club. Returning players will need to check in.

WHAT TO EXPECT AT TRYOUTS

Tryouts provide an opportunity for the coaching staff to evaluate players and determine if there is a good fit with teams that are recruiting.  Athleticism, coordination, and soccer skills are some of the factors that are evaluated.  Typical activities during tryouts include individual and group drills and scrimmages.  After the tryouts are concluded the coach will provide feedback as to further opportunities with the club.

CLUB FEES

Each club is different on how they promote their fees, make sure you are comparing apples to apples, meaning what does the other club fee cover. At Beach Futbol Club we try to give you the total fees for the year and a budget noting how many tournaments the team will plan on attending. We break it down into three components, the club fee, the team fee and the player fee. Some clubs give you one fee now and then ask for more money for each tournament and during the year for ref fees, so ask the the club if their fees cover everything or will you need to pay more later. (if you do more tournaments than originally budgeted than yes you will pay more but at least you know up front what the fees cover).
