Sebastian Carrasco enters his third year with the Long Beach State program as he continues to work with the conditioning of the 49er team. The 49ers have produced some of their best seasons to date, winning 26 times over the previous two years. They won the 2006 Big West Conference regular season title and hosted the conference tournament. Carrasco has been a head coach and trainer with Santa Clarita United since March, 2004, leading the U13 girls team to the 2004 regular season championship of the silver division. He has also continued to work with the Santa Clarita Soccer Club since March, 2002 as a head coach for the boy’s U15 and U16 squads, coaching in the gold and silver elite divisions.

From July, 2003 to December, 2004 he was the head coach for the AV Heat Soccer Club, leading the boys U13 team to a regular season title in the silver division. He spent nearly two years with LA United Soccer Club as an assistant coach from December, 2002 to May, 2004, as the team twice won the San Fernando League and regular season titles in 2002 and 2003. They reached the State Cup Finals in 2004.

Carrasco played in the Argentina Soccer League in New York from 1998 to 2001 as a defender and midfielder and for Asoligas from 1999 to 2000. He was also a defender for Raritan Valley College in New Jersey in 1999.

The Argentinian native played in various club programs in Argentina from 1984 to 1998. He holds various coaching licenses, including a USSF National “A” coaching license.
